Journalism Funding Partners acts as fiscal sponsors newsrooms allowing them to host fundraising campaigns where donors can make tax-deductible donations to their local newsroom. Powered through Givebutter, donors can make donations online, by check, through a DAF and through stocks as well.

All community giving campaigns that are fiscally sponsored through JFP align with its mission and are not for general operations funding. Some examples include raising funds for a climate reporter, a team of investigative reporters, production equipment and more. No goods or services are exchanged for donations.
